Dave Grohl, the temporarily-on-hiatus lead singer of the Foo Fighters, is slated to be the keynote speaker for next year’s South by Southwest festival in Austin, Texas. He is scheduled to speak on Thursday, March 14th, so be sure to set him into your SXSW schedules, as his is a speech that shouldn’t be missed.

We’re wondering if the ever-busy Grohl will be debuting his new documentary, Sound City: Real to Reel, within the film portion of the festival.

To get into the keynote address, you need to have a Music or Platinum SXSW badge.

Do you think Grohl was a strong choice for the keynote? Let us know in the comments section!
