The latest media company collaboration is one that was not expected by many: Comcast and Skype. The two have paired to create a way to chat through your television.
Comcast customers do not need a Skype-enabled television, though. The company has created a kit that can be rented to make chatting through any television possible. It will allow users to both video chat as well as include a remote with a keyboard for text chatting.
No price has been announced yet, but we hope it is significantly less expensive than an upgrade to an enabled TV.
