London boy band JLS has struck gold when it comes to scoring the best venues around the UK. The quartet, made up of Aston, Marvin, JB and Oritse, has landed, as well as a winter tour for their second album, a summer tour for the same album.
When going to see them at the KC stadium in Hull, people were rather apprehensive as to whether their performance would be as theatrical as those previously viewed on Youtube. Their intuitions proved wrong for the staging was immaculate with not an inch for improvement.
Their constant cardio got the crowd in the mood for the dance tracks at the end of the two hour performance, not to mention that healthy glow they all gained through doing what they love. The audience was privileged enough to experience the first live performance of the first single of their third album. The electric vibed outfits filled the elated mood of the crowd as everyone jumped to the beat of the stadium. Through several outfit changes and a variety of cover songs such as Jessie J’s ‘Price Tag,’ the band managed to make yet another crowd happy with their purchase of that £35 ticket.
Even though people may think of them as an overrated boy band that is mainly popular because of their extreme good looks and sometimes cliché music, that night was truly fantastic and showed their true ability as performers and highlighted their voices through a variety of different tracks.
