Crowdsourcing is not a new idea; we’ve been seeing examples pop up more and more throughout the music community. The latest example is Wilco, who asks its fans to upload videos related to the location of each of their North American tour dates. Creative fans upload videos to the band’s Vimeo site, and hope to be chosen. The best videos showcase the area, history, and people, and the band then displays the footage onstage during their concerts.
