Turntable.fm, the website where you can be a DJ for a room, listen to music with friends and strangers alike, and interactively have a listening party, hosted a real-life Interactive Party on Saturday at SXSW.
According to Russell Ward (digital publicist, Turntable.fm), six hours before the door time there was already a line. Unfortunately for the hundreds who waited in line, most could not get into the hot event. The draw was not only Turntable.fm, but the event hosts (Pepsi and Intel) and the strong lineup of DJs for the Saturday night event (Flying Lotus, AraabMuzik, and others).
Billboard.biz was there, and they share their thoughts and name-drop who they ran into at the exclusive event.
