Another Facebook update has come our way, but hopefully not too many people are upset; the new update makes some changes to events.
Events now require less work to create, in that fewer fields are required. According to AllFacebook, this is so that users can create events for vague outings, such as “dinner Sunday.” After, any attending users can change the location details.
Facebook has also added more notifications. Hosts will receive notifications when someone declines, and will be able to privately see what their reason for not attending is. Hosts will also be notified when users are attending events.
It will be interesting to see if this creates an influx of events being made, more in the idea that Facebook would like people to use them. What do you think?
