We heard that the Spice Girls are working together again to create Viva Forever, a musical. The Backstreet Boys announced their reunion. NKOTB. Now 98 Degrees has told the world they will be recording once again, and will perform at the Today Show’s Summer Concert Series.
So what is bringing this on?
It has been announced that Kelly Clarkson will perform the National Anthem at this year’s Super Bowl. Other Super Bowl performers include Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton.
I wonder if Clarkson will see as big a jump in album sales as halftime performers? The average sales boost that these musicians see is 555%, which could help Clarkson with her attempt to get back at the top of the charts.
Since finishing in Destiny’s Child, Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland have faded into the shadows while third member Beyonce Knowles had shone in the well-deserved and long-lived limelight.

After a life filled with drugs and alcohol abuse, the singer Amy Winehouse was finally at rest on 25th July 2011.
Late Saturday afternoon, the newly frail star passed at her home in London due to her fame funded habbits of illegal sustances and alcohol abuse. After rocky relationships with ex-boyfriend Blake Fielder-Civil, who was claimed to introduce the talent to the bad habbits which took hold of her, and marriage to Alex Clare the soul of the stressed and tormented star passed away after her Europe tour was cancelled due to her unable-to-perform conditions.
After growing up in Camden and attending Brit School, the singer took the world by storm with her album, ‘Back to Black.’ Known for her ever heightening bee-hive hair style, extensive use of eyeliner and constantly thinnening frame, the singer is a truly appreciated and well missed talent. May her soul rest in peace.
Though Amy Winehouse’s life was cut short at the age of 27, it is being said that she has three albums of material recorded, and the media has begun discussions of whether the public will ever hear those songs. The talented songwriter has earned five Grammy Awards, and has countless fans around the world. Her third album was supposed to be released earlier this year, but has been delayed time and time again. Legally, it is her parents’ decision if they want to share the album with the public.

Making their faces known through a fellow Southerner, Olly Murs, Rizzle Kicks make their debut appearance with helping hand of the trilby-wearing cutie.
‘Heart Skips A Beat’ is the new track by Olly Murs featuring two equally handsome young chaps in the form of Rizzle Kicks who are made up of two London rappers who share Olly’s passion for dancing around and hanging in Skate Parks which coincidentally is what they do in the new video. The track is a mixture of up beat pop with a funky soul vibe automatically giving you that feel good feeling on a dreary Monday morning. From now on, thanks to this song, they will be known as Happy Mondays.
In the video, the three dance on a huge record which is in the middle of a graffiti-covered skateboard park. Now, for all you Olly Murs fans, you will be familiar with his quirky dance moves and knee flicking actions but in this clip, there is a lack of movement. Instead the three twirl and spin as they soak in the urban talent which surrounds them. It is a truly amazing video which is inspiring and lovely to see Olly helping two young guys find their feet in the industry.
